My daughter got this for his birthday first. Her favorite "game" is "stuff, stuff out" so I thought it might be smarter for him since spits the balls out. He likes to toy! He has mastered the lever on the turtle get down again, and has even figured out that he can shut the door, get spinning, and all those balls fly out four at once. She giggles like crazy! It * is * a little noise, but as long as you do not try to have a conversation, not a big deal. Nobatteries, no parts to come off, and just a little door slides closed, so nothing can get pinched on. This is a durable toy - her brother has thrown it in the room and no harm was done. The colors are nice and bright and balls are so soft that they have no effect when they fly out. He caught one in the nose and she did not even bat an eye. He put the ball right back, and keep it spinning! This is a great toy, especially for the price!
